Jianhua Wu, Chairman & CEO, Director
Mr. Wu has been our chief executive officer, chairman and a director since the company went public, through a reverse merger transaction, in November 2007. Mr. Wu founded the Huayang companies. Mr. Wu is a certified mechanical engineer.

Xuezhong Hua, Independent Director
Mr. Hua was an economics researcher at Fujian Academy of Social Sciences between 1978 and 1991. Since retiring in 1991, Mr. Hua has written and published articles on economic theory and related studies. Mr. Hua is a graduate of Shanghai Industrial Management School and received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Xiamen University.

Xi Liu, Independent Director
Mr Liu was appointed a director of China Wind Systems in 2008. In addition, Mr. Liu works at WAM Bulk Handling Machinery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., as a purchasing and sourcing manager since 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Liu worked as an assistant purchasing manger of China FAW Group Corporation, from 1989 until 2005. Mr. Liu holds a degree in metal and heat treatment, Jiangsu University of Technology.

Drew Bernstein, Independent Director
Mr. Bernstein serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee of China Wind Systems. He co-founded Bernstein & Pinchuk LLP (B&P) in 1983. His early recognition of the global marketplace and his extensive travel in the People's Republic of China (“PRC”) resulted in the aggressive expansion of the firm’s services to the PRC. Mr. Bernstein received his BS degree from the University of Maryland Business School, is licensed in the State of New York, Connecticut, California, Texas and Maryland and is a member of the AICPA, the NYSSCPA and the NSA.

Megan Penick, Independent Director
Ms. Penick serves on the Company’s audit and compensation committees. Ms. Penick is an attorney, licensed to practice in New York State, and the owner of Penick & Associates LLC, which provides corporate governance consulting. She focuses on working with United States and China-based companies and their boards to develop corporate governance best practices. She received her J.D. from New York Law School and is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
